Embedded System GUI for Automated One Axis Drill
This project involved designing a graphical user interface (GUI) for the an automated drill. To be able to control the speed of the drilling motor and to visualize in real time the different parameters vary during the experiments, we developed a graphical user interface using Python.
6 Axis Robot Arm in ROS2, Gazebo Simulation
This project involves the design and implementation of a 6-axis robotic arm controlled using ROS 2 (Robot Operating System). The robotic arm is designed to perform precise and complex movements, such as picking and placing objects, and can be integrated into a broader automation or manufacturing system. The project leverages ROS 2 for controlling the arm, simulating its movements, and integrating with other robotic systems or sensors.
PLC Logic Control for The Sorting station
This project involved creation of logic that could digital twinning of two PLCs and a robot arm. These two PLCs control the two stations, that are sufficient to represent a simple, industrially-relevant process for basic training in automation technology: distributing and sorting. This simplest of all combinations provides numerous basic functions of automated production: separating, feeding, identifying, sorting. Each additional station adds new learning objectives. This means that the transfer of knowledge to the actual operation of modern automated production is as efficient as possible. 4 wheeled autonomous car in ROS2
This project involves developing an autonomous 4-wheeled robot car using ROS 2 (Robot Operating System), designed for navigation and obstacle avoidance in dynamic environments. The robot will be equipped with LiDAR and dual camera sensors, utilizing a Raspberry Pi 5 (8GB) as the main processing unit and an Arduino board for motor control through the L298 motor driver. The project aims to implement ROS 2 for controlling the robot, integrating sensors, and leveraging the ROS 2 navigation stack for autonomous movement.
